Writer's Guidelines for Fremantle Press
A not-for-profit team of publishers, authors and artists who bring uniquely Australian stories to the world. Their core purpose is to identify talented new and emerging Western Australian writers and artists, and to publish and distribute their work to the widest possible audience. Welcomes unsolicited manuscripts from authors of Western Australian origin or whose main place of residence is Western Australia. Work by non–Western Australian authors is considered when the subject matter has a strong Western Australian focus. Material considered includes: Fiction and narrative non-fiction (including creative non-fiction, memoir, travel and true crime); Non-fiction: (including biography, history, sport, gardening and photography); Poetry; Books for children and young adults.
