1. What are the system
requirements to run Quick Query Tracker?
To run Quick Query Tracker you will need a PC with:
- Windows 98, Windows ME,
Windows 2000,
Windows XP, Windows NT, or Windows Server 2003.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later
- Approx. 25 MB of space on your hard drive
1b. What
if I get an error message during installation asking for the .NET Framework?
Quick Query Tracker requires Microsoft's .NET
Framework - don't worry, it's free. If you get an error message asking you to
install the .NET Framework please try each of the following:
i. Check that you clicked on Setup and not Quick Query Tracker. This will solve
your error in most cases.
ii. Try installing the .NET Framework by clicking on the dotnetfx.exe file
included in the Zip file.
iii. You may need to update your Windows and get the .NET Framework from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
.
2. What is the maximum number
of queries I can track?
Quick Query Tracker will allow you to
track up to 10,000 queries. If you ever reach the maximum of 10,000 queries,
you will need to archive some of your older queries to free up space for more
queries.
3. What is the maximum
number of markets I can store?
Quick Query Tracker will allow you to
store details of up to 1,000 markets.
4. Do I
qualify for free
updates and upgrades?
Firstly, some definitions. Updates will
have a version number starting with the same digit, e.g. version 1.0.1 and
version 1.4 will be updates from version 1.0. Upgrades will have a
different starting digit, e.g. version 2.0 will be an upgrade from version 1.0.
As the owner of Quick Query Tracker you will
qualify for free updates from your version. For upgrades, a fee may be charged to
upgrade to the latest version.

5. How
can I move Quick Query Tracker and my data to a different PC?
Follow these steps carefully:
1. Back up your files using File-Backup.
2. Install the application on the new PC.
3. Copy the following files from the Quick Query Tracker folder on your old PC
to the Quick Query Tracker folder on your new PC:
- bkuppubs.dat
- bkuptrkr.dat
4. On the new PC perform a Restore from backup,
under the File menu.

7. Is
Quick Query Tracker available as a boxed version instead of downloading?
At this stage, Quick Query Tracker is only
available as a download. If we do agree to ship a copy on CD to you due to
